In brief: the site currently does not use cookies for tracking, advertising or audience measurement purposes.

1. What we do not use

• No Google Analytics or other audience measurement service.
• No advertising or social media tracking code.
• No external font service.
• No embedded external map or video.
• No tracking or profiling across multiple websites.

A simple way to check this: open your browser's developer tools and look at the network requests. When the page loads, every request goes to adatka.hu and nowhere else.

2. Local browser storage

The site currently stores nothing in your browser: it does not set cookies, and it does not use the browser's local storage (localStorage) either.

Cookies and localStorage can both keep data in the browser, but they do not work in the same way: the browser may automatically add a cookie to requests sent to the web address concerned, whereas it does not send the content of localStorage automatically.

3. If we introduce analytics later

An optional audience measurement or marketing tool may only be switched on after the necessary prior information and — where the law requires it — consent.

4. Technical logging

Cookies and server-side logging are two different areas of operation. Cookies store information in the browser, whereas the operations log records technical events relating to the operation of the service.

Text sent in the search box or in an API request does not go into this log: the log records the path of the request, the names of the parameters and the length of their values, and the response code, for at most 14 days. The purpose, legal basis and retention period of the processing, and the rights of the data subject, are set out in detail in the Privacy notice.
