Prices

The service is currently available in beta, free of charge. We will not publish a price until we can stick to it — but we have already decided what our charges will be based on, and you can read it below.

Beta

Adatka is currently available as an invitation-only, free beta. We aim to run it continuously and reliably, but for now we cannot commit to guaranteed availability or a fixed time for resolving faults. Temporary outages may therefore occasionally occur because of maintenance or technical faults.

The beta includes:

  • address autocomplete and address validation;
  • the /suggest, /reverse and /clean API endpoints;
  • the precision and sources of the match in every response;
  • direct contact with the developer.

We will shape the final pricing plans on the basis of real usage data from the beta. Before introducing a paid plan, we will inform everyone affected in advance; free access will not turn into a paid subscription automatically.

How we will charge

Two measures, not one

Both the rows processed and the daily requests count. This way, large batches that arrive rarely and continuous, small queries are not lumped together.

Transparent pricing

We state the prices and the billing currency clearly and in advance — with no hidden conversion costs.

We tell you before you reach the quota

In paid plans we will send a notification at 50, 75 and 90 per cent of the quota, and you can choose: a one-off top-up or a higher plan. If your quota runs out, we will not refuse service without notifying you first.

Custom offer — the fourth option

If none of the tiers fits your work, you tell us what volume you need and at what price. This is not an exception but the regular fourth variant of the plans.

Permanently free access

Educational institutions, non-governmental organisations and local governments can use Adatka free of charge on a permanent basis. The same applies to OpenStreetMap mappers, libraries and archives, and authors of data analyses and data journalism.

Not out of charity: they are the ones who report errors back to us.
